uhm well my bf who I live with vanished so that's pretty upsetting. but I've been coping by setting things on fire and painting and talking to my pony probably too much.
he's just gone. you know how it happens sometimes. he's dead, back where he's from, so at least there's that I guess. he'll go on to somewhere better. our other bf is taking it pretty hard I think tho.
anyway I didn't call you up to trauma dump on you! I've just been trying to keep an eye on people because tensions are so high.
[ But Jesse takes off to get over there right away. Despite Iggy's insistence that he's all right and Jesse's own casual tone, he's worried. He wants to actually see Iggy and make sure he's okay. He definitely doesn't want Iggy to get there first, to have to stand around waiting with nothing but his own thoughts or, worse, worry that Jesse might have stood him up.
So when Iggy arrives Jesse's already there, letting himself into the greenhouse to check out the stock. ]
[Iggy sees Jesse and immediately breaks into a wide smile. No matter what is going on, he always seems to be able to produce a little sunshine for the people he cares about.
He hurries over for a hug.]
Look at you, gorgeous! It's so nice to actually see you.
[Iggy looks better than he did at he banquet. Less gaunt. His eyes, though, have a maturity they didn't even four months ago.]
[ Jesse's not expecting the hug - the last time he'd seen Iggy, at the banquet, he hadn't wanted to be touched at all, and Jesse had been bracing himself for that.
But it's a welcome surprise, and he returns the embrace gratefully, with a grin. His boyfriend just disappearing, back to certain death. Jesse can't even imagine. He doesn't want to. ]

[ He is looking better, despite everything, and he's grateful for that too. But that look in his eyes...Jesse knows firsthand what that's like. Seeing too much, too quickly, too young. He gives him another little squeeze, letting him go reluctantly. ]
